How are you doing? To continue the wellness and positivity sharing from my last newsletter, I would like to share with you some of the things I love and found very helpful. 

And here I have a brave proposal - would it be ok for me to kickstart a little wellness community with you all? If so, hashtag #POWIC2020 (it is a brand new hashtag without any post!) - and you ask, what is POWIC? It stands for "Power of Women in Circle". It is my hope to start a small circle that motivates each other to achieve our goals and be accountable throughout the journey. Through the journey of being an entrepreneur, though I have my team and people's support along the way, it has often been a lonely journey - it is always better to dream bigger with people, and to inspire each other, don't you think? Let's share our story with the hashtag via Instagram or FB, and I will be sharing together with you all as well! 

S.Nine Book Club

In my childhood, I was always the fiction reading girl. It was like diving into a realm of unlimited possibility full of fantasy and imagination. Then I started to read autobiographies during my teenage years and early 20s, as it is like a looking glass into real human experiences. It always fascinates me that even through different historical background, circumstances, and upbringing, we all strive for a life well lived. As I got older and became a business owner, I started to get into business books, and the so called "self-help" books that focus on spirituality and productivity. 

Here are 5 great books I have read recently:

  • Educated by Tara Westover
  • A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle
  • The One Thing by Gary Keller
  • Deep Work by Cal Newport
  • Designing Your Life: How to Build a Well Lived, Joyful Life by Bill Burnett

Fitness Goal

Back in 2017 I found out about BBG (Bikini Body Guide) by Kayla Itsins (https://www.kaylaitsines.com/) The beginner's guide is truly a well thought out, well designed guide for people who has just started/restart their fitness journey. The exercises increase difficulties and intensities, and if you follow it religiously for 12 weeks I can personally guarantee that you will see amazing results. 

Chloe Ting is a famous YouTuber that has created her first fitness challenge plan back in 2018 (https://www.chloeting.com/program/). I am currently doing her 2018 Summer Shredding Challenge - she planned the schedule (8 weeks) for you so you simply have to follow the exercise via her Youtube videos. They are all free and also very easy to do at home with a yoga mat. 

S.Nine Collection 

We won't stop creating! Sometimes there is a little evil on my shoulder whispering: "People need the essential things now, not fashion, and certainly no one needs more clothes!" But then again, I thought about Art, Music, Decorative objects that have enriched our culture and materialize some of the most valuable asset of being human - creativity. It is my hope that I will never forget the purpose of my journey - to create beauty that will enrich a woman's journey, and to bring a sense of elegance and confidence wherever you go.
